We keep things simple. Here's exactly what data we collect, why we collect it, and what your rights are.

The Fellowship of Responsible Business (FRB) is a UK-based organisation. Our website is frb.buzz.

We only collect data that you actively provide to us. There are two ways this happens:
Contact form. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, organisation, and message. This data is processed by Netlify Forms and used solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list or use your details for marketing.
Voice demos. Our site includes voice demos powered by ElevenLabs Conversational AI. If you choose to use one, your voice is processed by ElevenLabs, which keeps a transcript of the conversation in our ElevenLabs account for up to 30 days. We use these only to check the demos are working well.
Your account. When you subscribe we collect your name and email address, and when we set you up, the WhatsApp number you'd like to use. Payment is handled by Stripe — we never see your card details. Your email and WhatsApp number are how the service recognises you, and we use them to give you access, send you your sign-in links and manage your subscription.
The coaching chat. Your messages are sent to Anthropic, the AI provider that writes the coach's replies; Anthropic does not use them to train its models. On WhatsApp, messages also pass through WhatsApp and our messaging provider Twilio. We keep the text of a WhatsApp conversation for 24 hours after your last message so the coach can follow the thread, then delete it. We also keep a record of each conversation for 30 days (90 days if our safety check raised a concern), then delete it.
Keeping you safe. Every message is checked automatically for signs that someone may be at risk of harm. If the check raises a concern, a small, named team at FRB and our technology partner Neos Wave is alerted, may read the conversation, and may contact you directly. Access to conversations is limited to that team, every access is logged, and it's used only to keep the service safe and working properly.
The simulator. Your voice conversation is processed by ElevenLabs, and a transcript is kept for 30 days so we can show you your debrief.
Your employer never sees your conversations — not the simulator and not the coaching chat. Where an organisation pays for your place, it can see only general usage across its whole group, never anything about an individual.
Coaching conversations can touch on health and wellbeing. We use what you tell us only to coach you and keep you safe, never for anything else. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
We do not use analytics tools, advertising trackers, or tracking cookies. FRB Coach sets one strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in to the web chat.
We do not monitor your behaviour on this site, build profiles, or share data with third parties for marketing purposes.
We do not send newsletters, promotional emails, or marketing communications. If you contact us via the form, we will respond to your enquiry — that's it. Your email address will not be added to any list or shared with anyone.
FRB is based in the United Kingdom and operates under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
When you submit our contact form, we process your data on the basis of legitimate interests — specifically, to respond to an enquiry you have chosen to send us. We do not use your data for any purpose beyond that response.
For FRB Coach subscribers, we process your data to provide the service you've signed up for (contract). The automated safety check and any contact from our team when we think you may be at risk rely on legitimate interests and, in an emergency, vital interests.
